The Green Wave JV and Varsity opened up their regular seasons this week….
After all the hard work and sweat these student/athletes have put in, they were able to hit the ice in the regular season.
The JV team played a fast Minnechaug squad and battled hard. With great leadership and another game coming up in Tuesday against Eaglebrook, we are looking to improve our systems. I look forward to seeing these student/athletes grow this season. Josh Bordeaux and Trevor Kuchieski led the way for the Wave JV. For a lot of the JV players, this was their first high school game experience and should be proud of their efforts…
Varsity opened up at home against a gritty Agawam team. The outcome wasn’t what the Green Wave wanted, and we get back to work Monday at practice. With many things to tighten up on our systems and scoring, but we saw a lot of positives as well.
We really appreciate the support from the community for our program. With a great showing on the Varsity home opener and our JV, we look to continue to grow the program within our community.

Come out and support the Green Wave starting Tuesday as the JV team competes at Eaglebrook at 5:45 and the Varsity team welcomes Drury to the good ole Collins-Moylan Saturday night at 6:30.
