If you look into the Green Wave locker room you will see some great student-athletes. Trying to teach these young men and woman to hold themselves to a high level of self-accountability. I believe this is a BIG part of what we try to do here as the Green Wave way. How can we hold someone accountable if we don’t first hold ourselves accountable?
Next is Battle Level. Can we look at ourselves in the mirror and say that we have given everything we can:
—At home
—At school
—At the rink
Think about it….
I believe if we can help these student-athletes reach their potential in these 3 aspects of their lives, in that order, then we are doing the right thing.
I believe our student-athletes have so much to give on these 3 areas of life that will help to continue and mold them into the next great generation coming through the doors at the Collins-Moylan Arena.
I believe that we will continue to grow as a hockey program and I am very excited for the second half of the season
