What a fun weekend here at the CMA for the Green Wave Family. Started off with the past, The 28th Annual Petrin Memorial Alumni Game. Team Green pulled out the victory over Team White. MVP’s of the game went to Dick LaCross, class of 1987 and John Richardson, class of 1974. But the real winners were the entire Green Wave Family as we appreciate the support of the community around this event. Thank you to the Petrin Memorial Fund for all they do.
We then went to the future as the Green Wave JV had the JV from Amherst come to play us at the CMA. The JV team didn’t disappoint with a great effort and the victory against a fiesty Amherst JV team.
We finished the day with the present, as the Varsity team had the Hurricanes from Amherst come and play against us. Varsity pulled off the trifecta for the evening and finished the game with a 1-0 win.
What a great Saturday of Green Wave Hockey at the CMA. Showing it takes a community to build what we are building here: The Green Wave Way!
The weekend wasn’t finished as the JV team turned around with a 1-1 tie against a Berry Division opponent – Agawam that played us up at Fitzpatrick Arena in Holyoke.
As the regular season closes this week and tournament begins next week let’s remember..
